Perfect Human Beings. Perfect Weekend.

HEY EVERYONE. 

This weekend was simply idyllic. 

Let me just tell you why: 

Party time at THE RED HOUSE (Which isn't actually all that red) 

With Ike and Nicholas. ALSO..I was pleased to hit on Nick's ethnic roommate several times without him catching on. One day. 

I was surprised by Ivy Lynn Finlinson & Jessica Williams & New Boyfriend of hers.

We all sat in Nick's room and bonded. SUU, Snow College and UVU students UNITE! We all ended up telling fun stories about our college experiences.. whilst playing Mario Kart on N64 ANDD Eating loads of asian rice. It wass tooo fun. 

^ Go ahead and tell me that Ike doesn't look like a sunbeam. 

Nick decided to drive Rakul's car back to Ogden... that's fine. It wasn't fine though when a cop pulled him over for going 276 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. The friendly police man went ahead and took some form of ID from ALL of us. Yes. Even me. I had to say "I don't have a drivers license.." I swear people just ask to make me feel really ridiculous. We got off with a warning. Yippy daggum dancer! <-- Nicholas Hilton Lingo. 

We arrived at Dennys only to see half of Bonneville High school.

My roommate met my friend Lane Harvey. He fell in love with her. So I went to the bathroom to tell her. hahaa. Allison Boyer and Caleb Marshall showed up. It was nice meshing friends. We all had a great time :) 

I decided to go ahead and wake up at noon the next day.. we had a delicious breakfast provided by PaPa Hunter.. followed by a trip to Frogurt to visit Daniel and THE LOLLAR FAMILY. Love them. 

We then decided to pay Scott a visit :) 

^ I always forget how freaking hilarious he is. 

His new house is amazing. 

We all caught up and relived the JUNI DAYS. 

We proceeded to Cafe Rio with DA BOYS 

CAMPBELLMOSES Dan and DeLaHANDSOME. 

Headed to my casa and all had a love sesh (clean) on mattresses in my living room.. (WITH LUCY) 

Dan is handsome. Moses always looks awesome. & Campbell has perfect hair.

After we all had good fun, they left and Lane Harvey came over because he loves my roommate. Pearl and I learned how to play Jar Of Hearts on GEETAR. Complete with chilling harmonies.

Allison came over.. then I skyped DelaHANDSOME. 

I always love skyping with him.. 

His mom and adorable sister are usually somewhere in the background.. his sweet mother is genuinely concerned about the letter that I wrote to Stephen King. Ope. Still no reply. So then I went to Dennys again. Woops. hahaa. I spent too much time laughing with everyone there. Megan & Camille came along. so that was just terrif! (terrific) 

I ended up getting about 1 hours of sleep until it was time to wake up for my posh coffee date with Jord. We went to Starbucks and the waitress somehow just knew that my name was spelt K-A-T-Y. Jord tipped her. AND ordered my drink. (Kit paid for coffee.. technically. He gave me ten bucks..) We sat there and talked about everything. It was so chill and peaceful. I realized that he notices just as many things about films that I notice about plays/musicals. We have a passion for it :) It's nice to have that in common with someone. After a few hours of talking and coffee, we went back to my house to pick up Pearla. We arrived at Nick's church a tad bit late. His lovely sister gave a wonderful talk. It was a nice atmosphere to be around.. and I liked seeing how involved and passionate Pearl was about her religion. I tried to sing a hymn and halfway failed. haha. I hugged Jord goodbye. Pearl, Rakul and I headed back home to Cedar. I didn't want to leave Ogden at all :( It was perfect and happy. I am so blessed to know AWESOME people.

But first... I fell asleep on the floor for a way long time. 

Do you ever have those days.. when you just wake up pissed/depressed? I was so sad. Maybe because when I fell asleep, the glorious sun was hitting my face. I was so warm and content to sleep. Waking up to dark windows.. and being freezing.. maybe that had something to do with it? It made me excited for summer: The sun being up until 10:30 at night... taking a trip to Maine.. visiting Fransisco Lopez in Minnesota. Whilst making cupcakes.. I text him and told him this very important thing: I want to marry a boy just like him. Why? Because.. we can have TOO much fun. Laughing.. playing.. talking.. eating.. ahhhaa. Honestly.. what is up with those couples that just sit around... watch movies... hold hands.. and end up making out? I've had too many of those pointless relationships. It's time to wake up. To live. To be with someone who brings out the best in you. <-- Not that I am in any hurry for this person to show up.

Before the dance: We're obviously all sick and sexy fied. YES. Oh but guess what? We were the first ones there.. Woops! Did that stop us from having our fun? YOU BET IT DIDN'T. Corbin and I hit the dance floor like sick animals.

As the dance went on.. more people showed up. I always tried to get into the middle of the big crowd.. and jump up and dance.. but my little self just couldn't do it. Corb was there to pull me right out :) I saw some Dixie friends there.. it was a good time! Creepy old guy kept dancing near our group. hahaha.

With great reason. 

It is sooo completely accurate.. 

Why? We can all relate. Every dude wants to punch his Summer in the face.. and turn around to see his Autumn. AMIRITE? 

This part always gets me: Summer and Tom are watching a film at the theatre... Summer's eyes start to fill with tears as she watches two characters in the movie that have just been married. 

THAT MOMENT. 

Is so honest. Such great acting.

Is going on an LDS Mission to Germany. 

Somehow.. I just KNEW it. 

His kindness, understanding.. and love.. will help him so much on this journey he is about to make. I KNOW how much he wants to go. I honestly could not be happier for him. He holds so many precious memories in my heart. He gave me the summer of my life! Our friendship will stay consistent.. although we are worlds apart! The moment he called me and told me he was going to Germany... tears filled my eyes :) Great things will come from this experience he is about to have. I just want to wish him luck.. and thank him for all of the good times. They will continue when he arrives home! I cannot wait to write him letters and things. Nicholas has never once judged me.. he always listens and loves me just the same. THANK YOU NICK. For being yourself. Honestly. You will do great!

Ahahah. The roommates shared confessions with me the other night. I absolutely love talking things out. I feel a million times closer to them. Pearla and I sat in the lobby.. with no pants. ahah. We talked forever. I think i'll be making a trip to Maine this summer. Her and Rakul are extremely special to me!

SO pissed off.. that I sat in the hallway for ten minutes while roomies did nails. It's okay.. they invited me.. I was just being quite stubborn! If you were wondering.. the letter to Stephen King was officially sent today. (I wrote him a letter.. asking for a trip to Maine..)

Let me just tell you a little something about our evening...

Three cops walk into a St. George Dennys. 

Time: 5:00 am

Cop 1: Hey girls! Enjoying your morning breakfast? 

Me: We actually haven't slept yet! We're from Cedar! 

Cop 2: Oh. I see. Just enjoying the metropolitan area? 

Me: Actually.. my roommate lives here. But she's in the bathroom.. 

Cop 2: Oh okay (Charming smile follows)

Me: So did you guys just wake up? 

(No response from any cop..) 

(Approximately 6 Seconds pass) 

Cop 3: (Because he feels sorry for me..) No... Does it look like it? 

^ Then all the cops walked away. Katy and Pearl were left laughing hysterically.

Roommate came out of bathroom. So we had to tell her. Then we left :) This probably isn't very funny. But it's EXTREMELY early. And I have had no sleep. 

TODAY WAS PEARLA'S BIRTHDAY. 

We had a celebration in the loft.. including cake.. dancing.. and this movie..

But wow. This is a Stephen King film. He is brilliant. Of course. The acting however... hmmm. And the fact that it was about three and a half hours long.. yeah. That's NOT okay. Especially when you have to flip the disk over to get to PART II

Lets just say.. we had more fun poking fun at this film.

^ Lets all make it a goal to not get turned into human-alien-freak-genuises that have ugly hair and pretend to be scared when we're not. 

^ First. Pearla opened her present. Errr card. (We don't have money... we're in college...)

We then had cake. YUMMM. Rakul and I fed it to the Birthday girl! (Indian Tradish) And then we began to watch the film. Afterwards, we had an INTENSE Dance party. Full of booootayyy shakin' lessons. Taught by RICO HERNANDEZ.

Obviously... Mario has made the Journey to Bowser's castle at this point. I mean.. look at my face. Could I be more excited? 

On the way home.. we talked about how amazing this boy is. I have never known someone so beautiful inside and out. I miss you so much Franny Boy. I have never known somebody like you. Your SUU buddies think of you everyday. 

BUENOS NOCHES: I hope Pearla Mah Gurla had a fantastic birthday. Life is just toooo sweet to me :) 

School vs. Jersey Shore. Huh?

^Me: Last Semester.

This is what happened every time I opened a book. 

^ Me: This semester. 

I read now. (Obviously) 

Some of you may not believe me. It is basically like night and day. I mean.. it's amazing what brilliant professors can do to you. I actually get excited to go to class. Every last one of them is completely brilliant. The things i'm learning are basically insane! My political science teacher has some kind of accent. He also shows us clips of Monty Python. I feel like i'm the only one that laughs at his jokes. That's fine. 

Today: Pearl, Rakul and I went to a HIPSTER coffee shop. THE GRIND. Well rope me up and call me hipster, I say. It was such a lovely, peaceful time. We talked about friends and such. I told Rakul and Pearl which friends from home I would want them to date. They did the same for me. Pearl picked James for me. Mostly just because he is intelligent and has SICK dance moves. (I hope he doesn't read my blog lolz!) Maybe he's handsome, okay? Following this Grind experience.. We got some free bread. (COOL) And headed to the library. I really didn't have much to study, so I pretty much just fell asleep in these amazingly comfortable LIBRARY CHAIRS. Skidddlyyy woahhh! 

^ My painfully handsome friend, RICO HERNANDEZ. Stopped by my room today. He showed me his family on his phone. I came to one conclusion here: OUR MEXICAN FAMILIES SHOULD MEET. He is such a great person. Inside and out. I wish my chest wasn't attacking him in this photo.

^ HEYYY CA'S! 

I'm super lucky to be involved in such an awesome leadership group. One that promotes University housing.. and makes the future of SUU look SUPER bright. I've been having such a blast with them lately. Each person has something fantastic to offer. 

One time I went to go get Ice Cream with Holly Pierce and Ryan Orcutt. Guess what happened?! FLIRTATION. With the guy that worked at the ice cream place. So what did I do? I sure did write my number on a napkin and ran out of the place like a sissy girl. He texted me. Oh wait but... He's in High School :/ Cedar City High School. JOKES ON ME. 

Are me and my roomies going bowling tomorrow with him and his high school friends? YA BET! 

Speaking of Holly Pierce: She asked me to be her model for her makeup class. I couldn't be happier. She's MY model ;) 

School is cool. Miss home. ILOVEYOUOGDEN AND FAMILY :) AND I miss you Allison Boyer <3 

I Will Buy The Flower Shop, And You Will Never Be Lonely :)

Hi Everyone. 

Guess what? 

I'm back at college! That's what this blog is all about. Yippy. Am I right? 

First off, let me say that leaving the fam was pretty difficult. AND leaving Dan Lollar. Papa Hunter insisted on driving me back to school. Woopie! As we were driving, I felt the sun on my face as I woke up. We were approaching Cedar City.. and I was just so happy. I've never felt so happy to feel the sun. Considering I hate it. Hmm :) 

Papa helped me unpack eerrrything. I'm so shocked that I actually had room. Considering my room is about the size of a small kitchen. I made do :) 

Rakul was a little nasty and decided to lie to me. I called her because I just missed her so much.. she said "I'll be there in twenty minutes" Then walked in the door about 2 minutes after the said that. We both freaked out. Naturally. We made a trip to Eccles to say goodbye to Alex De La Paz. We then were about to go to Vegas.. to pick up Pearla and Kenyon. BUT we had a scare with the parents... which put a damper on our Vegas plans. When we knew the coast was clear, we traveled to St. George and shared lovely conversation at Orange Peel. (See photo above) Garett also decided to join us. We were in his city. 

^My reason for living? 

We then decided to go to this classy as hell restaurant. 25 and Main. It was kind of just trying to be unique and stuff. But the food was great! You're probably wondering why I put up a picture of Ron. What other reason do I need...? He's beautiful. Okay, but really.. There happened to be a man that worked at this 25 and Main restaurant.. he looked JUST like Ron. So what did I do? Before I left.. I wrote on my napkin.. "The red headed boy can call me.. he's wicked cute.." Then I put my phone number. Of course, nobody ever text me. But it was worth a shot! Amirite?

It had spinny things and I was being awkward on them. Kso that was way fun. I loved seeing the Dixie Stars <3 It was such a lovely first part to my evening. On the way back to Cedar, Rakul and I totally rocked out to Beyonce. <-- I mean Rakul herself.

We came back and hung out with this guy. Yeah, I did steal this photo from his facebook. Rakul found football players in the lobby. When she sees a football player, all hope is lost. She turns into a robot or something. She even went to the effort to ask them to move our tv. Even though there was a perfectly capable buff man pretending to sleep on her bed.. that could have easily moved this tv. (Hayden) We then decided to check out Cedar Hall. (Hayden's place of living) Of course, Rakul was disappointed by the lack of males. Anyway, we hung out there for awhile.. then made our trip to DENNYS. Diet Vanilla cokes all around. Except for Hayden. He lost his cheese melt virginity. Ope :/ Corbin decided to grace us with his presence. He makes me so happy. Did I mention he's an amazing individual? We all exchanged conversation and had a few laughs.  He's all into Plaid shirts lately.

He's an RA this semester.. his theme for his hall is FIREWORK. Perfect.

My lovely evening with Rakul, Hayden and Corbin came to and end. Rakul and I watched WHEN IN ROME. Oh wait.. I mean I watched it. Because that freaking Indian fell asleep. Dappy Birthday Rahul.

I forgot to say that I skyped with Franny Sisco Solar The Boy Wonder Lopez. Yeah. Look how happy we both look. He gave me a tour of the Mexican-colorful house :) I'm missing him so much. 

TODAY: I was re-united with PEARL MAY WHITE. I always forget how much she completely understands me. Yeah. Rakul and I almost cried when we hugged her. It's weird how we just picked up right where we left off :) How lucky and blessed am I to have beautiful and perfect friends.. here.. AND in Ogden. We had our girl time.. and spent a lovely evening together. I also freaked out when I saw Kenny Bear. He is so special to me in every way. Sometimes, I take him for granted. My heart was so full the minute he wrapped his arms around me. It is nice to be back :) A phone call from Megan, Mom and Samantha made my day. Knowing people back in Ogden still care is always a plus. It was also fantastic visiting with Rico and Robby today. Tomorrow I have class. I'm pretty nervous/excited. We will see how things go!

I Second That Emotion!

K8trbloss is about to make the big Journey back to good ol Cedar City. It's quite bittersweet. Good things: Papa is insisting on driving me back. I got a new comforter. I get to see all those I've missed. Rakul will make me look pretty everyday. Bad things: Bye good.. sweet Ogden people. Goodbye Jamba Juice. And goodbye Alex De La Paz who is not coming back to Cedar City.. who I probably won't see in a real long time. 

I found this picture. It reminded me of when Garett and I stumbled across a quant, deserted, brand new Dennys. In West Haven! It was completely perfect. Late at night.. and perfect. Garett and I spent a substantial amount of time driving around. We seriously talked about everything! It was so perfect. We really bonded. FOUR HOURS. I got home at 4:30 am. I then realized that I had to be to work in an hour. PERFECT. Making those Jamba's like one bossayy lady. 

Kso after work, I hung out with this amazing guy. We played Mario Kart with Campbell and Moses. Then I kind of fell asleep right there on his bed.. due to the lack of sleep I had the night before. When Dan took me home, we sang really loud to GRAVITY. And then he grabbed my hand with his hand. All cute like. Then I thought: that a best friend is always there to keep your hand warm. Then he put a hat on me. I am going to marry him. 

(I hope this paragraph didn't insult his manliness) I know I really must adore him so much. Want to know why? Because I want to love AND punch him a lot. 

This is Noah. He is my current reason for living. He says cute things to me like.. "You can call me sweet cheeks if you want.." and.. "SPIN ME SPIN ME AGAIN" and.. "We should have Ice Cream first" Oh wow. He is such a charmer. He always says ladies first. Also, I introduced him to Garett and Sam. He was so polite to both of them. I've got to hand it to his parents. He is such a good boy. Honestly. This kid is golden. I cherish every single second that I get to spend with him. He lives in NC. I'm looking to transfer to some college in that state. After associates :) For some reason: When Noah was born, I just had this instinct to write him a letter. Mommy isn't going to show it to him until he is older. But SOMEHOW, I just knew we were going to be best friends. When he reaches out to grab my hand, It's the best feeling. It even makes me feel like ONE DAY. I might be a mommy. K that was weird. 

This is Kelby. I've always thought he was a great dude. Apparently he's in this band that is way good. He's one of those classy fellas that can get away with swearing and things. I picture him to one day be some kind of rich gambler dude. Smoking a cigar and drinking whisky. Just being an all around BA individual. I went to Scott's house tonight and he was there. It was also really nice to see Scott. We talked about the Juni times. Oh hi guess what? WE WATCHED JERSEY SHORE. Gross. I'm convinced that they are all highly paid actors. Nobody REALLY fights like that about stupid things. Unless they're in Junior High. What is appealing about a bunch of fake-tanned girls and boys showing how unintelligent they are? I wish you could tell me... because i'm pretty much addicted to that damn show now. Sometimes... when i'm on the clock.. .(At Jamba) I talk in a Brooklyn accent. Because I am semi-good at it. And I just want customers to think i'm cool.. (Please don't tell anyone) 


Lesson I learned while being home: No matter how much you adore people.. and no matter how much you try.. some things are just simply not meant to be. And no matter what... in the end.. the only thing those people want from you is your money to buy cheap alcohol. And your ever lasting affection for them. That they will continue to ignore. And disappoint you. Because they don't care about you. AT ALL. 


^ cool huh. It's a good thing you don't need those people :) Because guess what? You can/learn to be happy without them. YOU REALLY CAN. The glass really is half full folks. 

K well. I'll miss you Ogden. Mostly family. It was perfect spending so much time with you :)

She Just Knew!

I just asked Mamma Bear how she knew she wanted to marry Papa. You know what she said? "He shook my hand. And said.. Natalie Diarte? That sounds familiar.." Then mom said.. "That's like, the oldest line in the book!" "I never noticed how cute he was. He was in leigh jeans and hiking boots. With a T-shirt and a flannel shirt over it. All of his clothes looked the same color because he washed them together.. " Hhahah. (Sounds like dad.) "I guess he just gave me butterflies. And he never tried to be something that he wasn't. He didn't act like he knew everything. But he studied everyone. He has the best dry sense of humor. But I felt safe with him" <3 

^ Awh Mamma! Way to snatch up a keeper. Dats mah mom. 

Okay so: One of my best friends is getting married. (today) That's why all of this marriage stuff is crossing my mind. It's not like I want to or anything. Holy crap. As I was talking to my friend Robby about it, (He lives in Alaska) He made something very clear to me: When you love someone.. It makes you happy so obviously you want to make that other person happy by putting their needs above yours. Which is a very classy and nice, humanly caring thing to do. My mom says it's magic. I say, it happens when it happens. I don't want to have this GRAND expectation. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. What do you think? Tell me what you think love is. Seriously. How do you just freaking KNOW when you want to marry someone? I just don't get it. I guess that comes from never being in love. Oh freaking well. I'm sure it'll happen someday for Katerblossom. Oh. Mom just said.. "And he trained Dolphins. That was pretty cool." bahah. I'll be sure to marry a Dolphin trainer if I ever find one. Right?! It's not like I'm desperate for this love thing right NOW. But someday it'll probably be nice. Ya know? I'd really like SOME feedback on this. Romance- Schmomance. Am I right? <-- Bitter. 

Also: Love. I think that you CAN love someone. BUT you can only feel true love if that person loves you back 100 percent. Knowing that someone loves you that much back: Probably wants to make you jump on your bed and tell everyone how friggin lucky and happy you are. Maybe you want to even cry of happiness. Hmmm.

Recently: Had a sleepover with Holly and Lori. Only wishing that Shelby Cravens could have been there. We played JUST DANCE on the wii. That's right. And it's wicked fun. Even though the game hates me and wouldn't give me a high score. It was just jealous of my sick moves. It was so nice to be with those gals. Maybe Holly and I stayed up really late and quoted SHE'S THE MAN. Just maybe. 

^ HOT AND DANGEROUS. 

New Years: Totally fun. Went to Brigham with Campbell, Moses and Dan. Met Campbell's fantastic friends. Kyle, Kelli and Krystal. <-- They like K's. 

We played Loaded Questions. If you've never played that game, it's basically just an excuse to say dirty things to one another. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a LONG time. I got a new years kiss. Or 5. Twas sweet :) Had a root beer float, and ALREADY accomplished my NEW YEARS RESOLUTION. Which was to beat Dan at Mario Kart wii. 

Guess what I've been doing with ALL of my time?

It is so hilarious. Mostly because it reminds me so much of Juniper Hall. It gives me great ideas of things to do in college. There is an unspoken bond that you create with your fellow residents. You do things like: Make your room into a fort and make microwave smores. Whilst watching scary movies. PERFECTION <3 Dorm life is quirky and fun. The characters are easy to relate to. Each episode is only 5 minutes long. Garett and I spent a whole day watching it :) My favorite character: Abby. She's amish and doesn't say a word the entire time. You also have your stereotypical theatre kid. Your drunken, attractive idiots. Your OVER THE TOP roommate. Your bitchy RA. And your sorority gals. Somehow, they all mesh. I'm telling you, it's hilarious. Check it out on hulu.com! P.S. Can't wait 4 skool. 


Also: Went to Black Swan with little sisters and friends. Don't worry, I made them close their eyes during the sex part. It was a great movie. Some things made me want to gag a little. I have a weak tummy :/ Overall: It was a fantastic film. The ending is completely beautiful. Swan Lake. I now have a dream to become some sort of ballerina. If ONLY I had the grace to go along with it.

It made me appreciate ballet so much more. I seriously envy and admire those that have a talent for it. 


Tonight: I went to Dennys. Get this: TWICE. Whattheheck. I need to stop that right away. Nicholas Hilton lost his cheese melt virginity tonight. It's a good thing he's such a good person in the inside, or it probably would have melted his soul. I'm genuinely excited for him to go on a mission.
Before I went to Dennys with Nick, Madison and Jordan, I went with Lane Harvey and Caleb Marshall. The usual sunday crew.

These dudes are great. I love knowing that whenever I'm home, I can go to them every sunday. DENNYS BABY. 
Excited to go back to Cedar. My friend Corbin is so great. I cannot even wait to see him. Wanna know why? Because he likes Betty White and eats fried pickles with me. AND he looks hawt in plaid.
